The 30A Session Experience
Looking for a 30A photographer who knows every beach access from Dune Allen to Inlet Beach? Scenic Highway 30A, Florida is 24 miles of sugar-white sand, coastal dune lakes and small beach towns, and each town photographs differently: wild dunes in Grayton Beach, cedar boardwalks in WaterColor and WaterSound, pastel cottages near Seaside, white stucco in Alys Beach, cobblestone streets in Rosemary Beach, and the widest public beach on the road at Inlet Beach.
I am Amanda, your Santa Rosa Beach photographer, and I live and shoot on 30A. I have photographed families, seniors, couples and new babies in every one of these communities since 2016, and I will plan your session around where you are staying, the season and the light.

30A FAMILY BEACH SESSIONS
30A family photos are what most of my visiting families book, and the road gives us a different backdrop for every trip: dunes one year, boardwalks the next, Rosemary Beach streets the year after. I keep sessions relaxed and playful so the kids stay happy (and the grumpy dads stay tolerable), and I guide you into natural moments instead of stiff poses. As your 30A family photographer, my goal is a gallery that looks like your vacation felt.
30A SENIORS
30A SENIOR PORTRAITS
30A senior pictures can look like a magazine shoot or a wild beach adventure depending on the town we pick: Grayton Beach for dunes, WaterColor for boardwalks, Rosemary Beach for cobblestone streets, Alys Beach for white walls if you are staying on property. Bring two to five outfits and let your personality lead. Every 30A senior session is guided, fun and built around the images you will actually want to frame.

30A ENGAGEMENT & COUPLES SESSIONS
30A engagement photos and surprise proposals are some of my favorite sessions to shoot. If you are planning a proposal anywhere on 30A, I will scout the spot, hide in plain sight, capture the yes, and then move you both into a full engagement session as the light drops. Sunrise couples sessions on 30A are almost always just the two of you and the Gulf.
30A Bumps + Babies
30A MATERNITY & NEWBORN SESSIONS
30A maternity photos and newborn beach sessions celebrate the sweetest chapter of all. For maternity sessions the boardwalks, lakes and open beach give us wind, light and movement for flowing dresses. For newborns I keep sessions short and close to your rental, and I bring the wraps, baskets and props so all you have to do is show up. Bump or baby, this coast is a beautiful place to remember this season.

It depends on the look you want. Grayton Beach for dunes and sunset color, WaterColor for boardwalks and pastel cottages, Rosemary Beach for streets and greens, Blue Mountain Beach or Dune Allen for quiet uncrowded sand, and Inlet Beach for the widest public access on 30A. As your 30A photographer I will recommend the best spot for your session type, the season and where you are staying.
The last hour before sunset is the most flattering light on every 30A beach. Sunrise is a close second and is my recommendation for families with young kids in summer and for Alys Beach sessions, because the beach is empty and the light is soft and cool.
My 30A sessions start with a session deposit that reserves your date and is credited toward your digital collection. Digital collections start at $1,475 for family, engagement, maternity and newborn sessions and $1,975 for senior sessions. There is no travel fee anywhere on 30A.
Public beach accesses on 30A need no permit for personal portrait sessions. State parks (Grayton Beach, Deer Lake, Topsail Hill, Camp Helen) charge a small per-vehicle entry fee. Alys Beach requires an approved photographer and only grants approval to guests on property; I am approved. Private communities like WaterSound and WaterColor are for guests and residents.
Sunset slots on 30A fill fast in spring break, summer and fall. Reach out as soon as you have your travel dates so we can lock in the best light. I keep a few sunrise openings for last-minute vacationers, so it never hurts to ask.
